From October 27 to 31, 2026, our Bretz Store Cologne was all about idd cologne. Five days filled with fresh impressions, inspiring encounters and engaging conversations are now behind us.

The New Collection
Just in time for idd cologne, we gave our Bretz Store Cologne a fresh new look, creating space for our latest Bretz characters. With Avola, Palora and Petite Matilda, three new models made their debut, inviting visitors to discover, experience and, of course, try them out up close for the very first time.
Once again, the event revealed what makes the world of Bretz so distinctive: expressive shapes, fabrics full of character and fantastically sensual furniture.

Three New Characters Take Centre Stage
With Avola, Bretz reinterprets the classic récamiere as a contemporary upholstered sculpture. Organically flowing curves and a boldly curved backrest give it an unmistakable silhouette – somewhere between classical elegance and an avant-garde gesture.
Palora brings the fantastical world of Bretz cushions into a new form. A generously proportioned round cushion as the seat, a strikingly curved backrest and lively folds transform the armchair into a personal theatre box seat.
To mark the tenth anniversary of the iconic Matilda collection, Petite Matilda joins the family. This standalone three-seater sofa translates the collection’s characteristic pentagonal geometry into a compact, sculptural design – softly upholstered, designed to encourage conversation and unmistakably Matilda.
